About The Position

FSRI is seeking a Community Services Clinician, IC-DBT to positively impact the community. This full-time role involves providing trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and enhanced evidence-based services to children, youth, and their caregivers, both in the community and in the office. The clinician will utilize evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST). Key aspects of the position include collaborating with case managers, the psychiatric team, and other service providers to ensure optimal client care, as well as providing emergency crisis intervention/assessment when necessary. The clinician will work as part of a trauma-focused multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practices with fidelity. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc) required
  • Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
  • Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, registration and auto insurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs
  • Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children exposed to trauma preferred
  • Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
  • Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated

Responsibilities
