Requirements

High School Diploma
Iowa Driver’s License required.

Nice To Haves

Strong customer service and organizational skills with a desire to work with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Serves as initial contact for Home Accessibility and Repair clients, screening for project eligibility, initiating intake and assisting clients with additional resources and assistance.
Creates clients files and maintains accurate, complete, and confidential client records for various Aging Services programs
Schedules and completes home visits as appropriate
Assists with check requests and billing for services as applicable.
Participates in agency outreach and community collaboration
Flexibility to respond to constantly changing situations in a courteous manner.
Serves as back up to other Aging Services Community programs as needed
Contributes to the recruitment, screening and training of volunteers
Performs additional duties as may be assigned to ensure complete service to all customers.
Provides information and referral services to older adults throughout the greater Cedar Rapids area
