The Community Residence Counselor (CRC) position is located at McLean Naukeag, a 30-bed, two-week residential treatment program within the Division of Alcohol, Drugs, and Addiction in Belmont, MA. This per diem role involves providing direct patient care and participating in the therapeutic milieu under the direction of the Program Director and Nurse Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Medication Administration Program Certified [MAP - Massachusetts] - Massachusetts Department of Public Health required
Time Management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Maintains a commitment to professional growth and competency.
All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems (PRISM) for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
One-year patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting
Familiarity with Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care through group and individual counseling in accordance with current treatment plan.

Supervises patients in taking medication as prescribed.
Assists patients in their activities of daily living.
