Job Summary Under direction of the Nurse Manager, Clinical Coordinator & Charge Nurse, the Community Residence Counselor (CRC ) provides direct patient care and participates in therapeutic milieu within the scope of defined practice. Responsible for providing direct support and supervision to individuals residing in community-based behavioral health or supportive living programs. The Community Residence Counselor assists residents in developing daily living skills, achieving treatment goals, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. This role plays a vital part in promoting recovery, independence, and quality of life for individuals with mental health, substance use, or developmental conditions.
