Rockland Trust is seeking a summer intern to provide support in all areas of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Compliance. The position requires strong verbal communication, organizational, and research skills. Excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Word and Excel are critical. Candidate must be comfortable with sorting data in excel, merging data from different workbooks and must be quick to learn other analytical excel formulas on the job.

Requirements

  • The individual applying for this position must be a flexible self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced multitask environment.
  • Applicants must understand the confidential nature of the department’s purpose in the Bank.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Customer service skills
  • Working towards a business or related degree in college.
  • Seeking current college rising seniors working towards a business or related degree who are 21 years of age or older.
  • This internship will involve occasional outreach events at locations requiring attendees be at least 21 years old to attend.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and aggregating market data
  • Support review of donations and services for CRA credit
  • Assist coordination of community outreach meetings
  • Assist in compilation of demographics necessary for performance context used in evaluating CRA posture
  • Provide support in preparation for the FDIC’s CRA Examination
  • Other clerical tasks will be assigned by the department as needed.
