About The Position

The Community Programs Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting operational excellence across community programs. Reporting to the Program Operations Manager, this position oversees a team of Program Delivery Specialists, ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality service delivery. The Specialist focuses on implementing best practices, optimizing workflows, and supporting process improvements that drive program success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred but not required
2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or program management (experience supervising staff preferred).
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support Program Delivery Specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Assist in developing and maintaining standardized operating procedures for program delivery.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Coordinate scheduling and routing for program activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Integrate volunteers into operational workflows, maximizing their contributions to service delivery.
Support training initiatives for staff on new tools, technologies, and procedures.
Monitor program performance using data and metrics; report findings to the Program Operations Manager.
Ensure compliance with contracts, reporting requirements, and organizational standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen program delivery.
Assist with the integration of new partnerships and technology solutions into operational workflows.
