Participatory Budgeting (PB), known as Ideas in Action, is a yearly initiative in Boston where community members decide how to allocate a portion of the public budget. This process involves open dialogue, identification and prioritization of project ideas, and collective decision-making on funding and implementation for community benefit. The Office of Participatory Budgeting (OPB) is seeking a Community Partnerships and Project Coordinator to manage its outreach and partnership initiatives. This role will involve planning, executing, and evaluating engagement strategies across various PB phases, coordinating event and workshop logistics, managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, and supporting the tracking of winning PB projects. The Coordinator will collaborate with OPB staff to ensure all residents have the opportunity to participate in Ideas in Action.
