About The Position

Pawsperity seeks a highly motivated, results-oriented, and driven individual to join the Development and Communications Team as a Community Partnership Manager. This integral role needs a strategic, organized, and confident professional who 1) is enthusiastic about cultivating and maintaining current funder relationships and 2) can spend most of their time seeking and securing new corporate and community partnerships. A high volume of persistent asks are required (similar to sales). This position will collaborate closely with a small team in a very fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Director of Development and Community Relations, oversees a part-time temporary Food Program Coordinator, and works alongside the Grants Manager, Development Manager, Marketing Specialist, and Development Associate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sales and/or partner cultivation.
A confident self-starter with a positive, cooperative attitude; a real team player.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with experience drafting solicitations, and other professional communication.
An understanding of the need to form relationships, communicate regularly by phone, email, or meetings, and take ownership of the corporate and community group program.
High level of emotional intelligence, integrity, and professionalism.
Ability to maintain stellar interpersonal skills that attract, retain, motivate, and value internal staff and volunteer teams, as well as external partners.
Possess a deep commitment to helping families exit poverty and the ability to see how development and consistently growing the supporter base within companies and community organizations is key to further the work of Pawsperity.

Responsibilities

Create letters, packets, and communications for current and prospective corporate partners.
Conduct weekly specialized presentations, communications, and tours for corporate and community groups.
Responsible for market research and strategies for expanding corporate partners.
Alongside the Director of Development and Community Relations, develop the planning ensuring targeted annual goals are met or exceeded within the corporate program.
Maintain and track detailed corporate and community gifts and stewardship records in the donor database.
Responsible for monthly reporting.
Oversee the part-time temporary Food Program Coordinator, who is responsible for strategically ordering food for the food pantry and coordinating volunteers for both the pantry and the commercial kitchen.
Responsible for touring and greeting corporate and community groups volunteering in the commercial kitchen that are actively being cultivated.
Assist with other Development and Communication projects, as needed.
