About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Community Outreach Representative to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for outgoing individuals who enjoy engaging with people, promoting events, and supporting community outreach and fundraising initiatives . As a Community Outreach Representative, you will serve as the public-facing ambassador of our organization, helping to build meaningful relationships, increase event participation, and support local fundraising efforts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in communications, marketing, or nonprofit studies preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable interacting with diverse audiences
Ability to work flexible hours , including evenings and weekends for events
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Nice To Haves

Experience in customer service, community outreach, event promotion, fundraising, or volunteer coordination is a plus—but not required

Responsibilities

Represent the organization at community events, fairs, festivals, and promotional activities
Engage with local businesses, organizations, and residents to promote events and fundraising campaigns
Assist with event planning, setup, registration, staffing, and volunteer coordination
Build and maintain positive relationships with sponsors, partners, and volunteers
Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions to increase awareness and participation
Track outreach activities, gather feedback, and report results to management
Collaborate with the marketing and events team to develop creative and effective outreach strategies
