About The Position

At Caring Senior Service of Kansas City Central, we help seniors remain healthy, happy, and independent in their own homes. As our Community Outreach & Referral Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines of that mission—building partnerships, educating the community, and helping families find trusted care solutions when they need them most.
This is a high-visibility, autonomy-driven role for someone who thrives on relationship-based selling and purpose-driven work.

Requirements

• Proven success in sales, business development, or relationship-based closing
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and follow-up skills
• Goal-driven, organized, and motivated by meaningful outcomes
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare, senior care, or home care experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with the Kansas City healthcare or senior services market is a plus

Responsibilities

• Building a strong pipeline of new business through community outreach and referral partnerships
• Developing relationships with hospitals, physician offices, assisted living communities, senior centers, veteran organizations, and other referral sources
• Educating families and professionals on the value of in-home care and Caring Senior Service’s GreatCare® approach
• Managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to follow-up and closing
• Representing Caring Senior Service at networking events and community functions
• Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly growth goals
• Accurately tracking outreach activity and results in CRM systems
• Partnering closely with the local office team to ensure a smooth, high-quality client experience
