An overview of this position entails… This position is responsible for assisting the property services operations including, but not limited to, property management services, departmental procurement, contract management, business systems management, and office management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 1 year of experience working with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License

Responsibilities

  • Ensure rental payments are recorded promptly and deposits are prepared to be sent to the Employing Broker for deposit within five business days of receipt.
  • Manage tenant relations by coordinating requests for repairs/maintenance, understanding rent charges, lease issues, and other tenant concerns.
  • Assist Property Manager with budget preparation and review.
  • Collaborate with the Property Services Maintenance Team to ensure prompt responses and completion of tenant’s maintenance requests are in line with the company’s standards.
  • Follow eviction procedures, including notice requirements, court representation and facilitating proceedings as needed.
  • Complete regular property inspections of the grounds, common areas, vacant units and occupied tenant units noting deficiencies and taking necessary action to correct deficiencies within approved budget guidelines.
  • Maintain Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance with all required paperwork and Initial Certification and Annual Recertifications.
  • Collaborate with the Permanent Supportive Housing Case Management team to provide property management support for compliance between both programs.
  • Prepare and sign rental agreements with qualified and approved applicants.
  • Update Property Management software(s) as needed and a minimum of monthly to ensure all property and tenant data is up to date.
