About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, the Community Liaison will develop and maintain relationships in markets that will generate the desired utilization of the facility’s continuum of care. Ultimately, the Community Liaison will provide community education on the mission and goals of North Spring Behavioral Healthcare.

Requirements

Good verbal and written skills. Skills in public speaking and problem solution. Excellent customer service skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Public Relations/Business/Counseling or a social science related field (minimum).
1+ years in a related healthcare field.
Knowledge of and adherence to company safety practices.
Must be able to operate a computer and review reports containing data with small print.
Must be able to travel by car and airplane, sitting for long periods of time.
Must be able to occasionally lift 30 pounds and carry small objects.

Nice To Haves

Psychiatric health care marketing experience preferred.
Five or more years of experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director of Business Development in developing and implementing a strategic plan to promote the services offered at North Spring Behavioral Healthcare to all potential referral sources in a manner consistent with the mission and vision of the hospital.
Travels regionally to maintain a database of healthcare professionals.
Responsible for growing patient census by consistently exploring the development of new referral sources, maintaining and managing existing accounts, identifying referral source needs and tailoring services to meet those needs.
Coordinates with the Director of Business Development on-going updates of the Referral Source Data Base.
Coordinates with the Admissions Department efforts to follow up with all referral sources regarding referrals and admissions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
