About The Position

The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of engagement across Base44’s community spaces. This is a highly hands-on role focused on making sure our community is active, welcoming, and consistently energized. You will own the execution of engagement tactics across platforms like Discord, Reddit, and other community touchpoints, bringing campaigns and ideas to life and ensuring members always have something meaningful to participate in. This role is less about high-level strategy and more about excellent execution, consistency, and follow-through. The Community Engagement Manager is essential to making Base44’s community feel alive. Your work will directly impact how people experience Base44, how connected they feel to the product, and how likely they are to become long-term advocates.

Requirements

  • Experience managing or moderating online communities (Discord, Reddit, Slack, forums, or similar).
  • Strong written communication skills and a natural ability to engage people online.
  • Proven experience using vibe coding tools - we will ask you to show us what you’ve built.
  • Comfort being highly hands-on and operational — this role is about execution.
  • Experience running online campaigns, challenges, or community events.
  • Familiarity with community analytics or engagement tracking.
  • Experience working closely with product or engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Daily participation in and moderation of Base44’s community channels (Discord and Reddit) to initiate conversations, respond to members, and foster engagement.
  • Act as a frontline representative of Base44’s voice and values in public community spaces.
  • Run recurring engagement initiatives such as build challenges, AMAs, feature launches, polls, and discussion series.
  • Execute campaigns end-to-end: participant recruitment, promotion, and engagement analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, engineering) to bring timely, relevant engagement ideas into the community.
  • Surface product feedback, questions, and sentiment from community conversations into actionable insights for Support and Product teams.
  • Keep content calendars, schedules, and recurring posts organized and up to date.
  • Create engagement content specifically focused on onboarding new users and helping them understand how to participate and build on Base.
  • Monitor key engagement metrics such as active participation, posts, comments, and campaign performance. Use data and qualitative feedback to continuously improve engagement tactics.
