We are looking for a strategic, authentic, and experienced Community Engagement Manager to lead our efforts across Reddit. You’ll be Mozilla’s voice in influential subreddits, driving organic engagement through thoughtful participation, not brand pushing. You’ll develop and own an organic Reddit strategy, spot trends early and make engagement recommendations, navigate moderation ecosystems with care, track and report performance, build relationships with key Redditors and moderators, and create content that resonates with communities passionate about technology, privacy, and the open web. This is a great opportunity to shape and lead Mozilla’s Reddit engagement strategy, working cross-functionally to spark meaningful conversations and build stronger connections with our users. You’re the right person if: You have your finger on the pulse of online conversations, especially in tech spaces, and you know when to listen, when to jump in, and how to do it with empathy and authenticity. You're fluent in Reddit culture, comfortable navigating nuance, and write in a way that feels human. You’ve worked across teams to problem-solve responses and share insights, and you bring sound judgment to fast moving or sensitive moments. You’re naturally curious, quick to learn new platforms, and genuinely enjoy engaging with communities where trust and transparency matter. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help grow and nurture a thoughtful, engaged community by serving as a critical liaison between our users and the product teams building for them.
