Job Summary: The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a key role in expanding NOAH’s reach, access, and impact across the community. This position builds and sustains referral relationships with community-based organizations, manages and grows NOAH’s volunteer program, and supports grant reporting and funding strategy through data analysis and storytelling.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in in public health, community development, nonprofit management, data analytics, social sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in community engagement, partnerships, nonprofit programs, public health, or related work.
  • Experience in a healthcare, FQHC, or social services environment.
  • Experience managing or coordinating volunteer programs.
  • Familiarity with grant reporting or funder requirements
  • New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022).
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card - have a current Fingerprint Clearance card or within seven working days after employment shall apply and be eligible for a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Food Handler Card – must have current food handler card or obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a current driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with community partners such as schools, nonprofits, faith groups, and referral sources.
  • Represent NOAH at outreach events and community meetings.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams—Population Health, Community Health Workers, Care Coordination, and Marketing—to align efforts.
  • Manage and grow the volunteer program, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and placement.
  • Maintain records and metrics, foster relationships with volunteers and partners, and support engagement at major events.
  • Ensure volunteer activities match NOAH mission and policies.
  • Support grant applications and reporting by collecting and summarizing impact data, tracking performance indicators, and working with Grants and Fund Development.
  • Translate data into compelling stories for funders and leadership
  • Maintain dashboards and tools for partnerships and access metrics.
  • Analyze trends and offer recommendations to improve community strategies.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Attend all required training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
