About The Position

This Adjustment Services Instructor position is located at the WorkSource West Facility in Morganton, NC. This position is responsible for the assessment, training and placement of referred consumers with disabilities into curriculum programs offered at the facility. This position will provide support to ensure skill attainment, support, safety, appropriate training, and successful placement leading to gainful competitive employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or business field such as human resources, marketing, business administration, business management, healthcare management, or public administration from an appropriately accredited institution; or Associate’s degree in a human services or business field (identified above) from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related work experience; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) and four years of directly related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license required to drive state vehicles

Responsibilities

• Assessing and teaching training programs to individuals with varying disabilities
• Managing work station set-up, work flow, and quality assurance processes
• Providing orientation and supervision to consumers in the program
• Utilizing the case management system to document the provision of services provided in accordance with consumer's rehabilitation plan
• Supporting outreach activities to inform the community on available services
