About The Position

As a Community Director, you will be responsible for the overall success of your community—from occupancy and revenue goals to team performance and resident satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who is decisive, organized, and energized by building a positive culture while meeting operational targets.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets and driving performance metrics
  • Clear communicator who can lead with both authority and empathy
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outcomes
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • 2+ years of property management or leadership experience in the multifamily industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Entrata experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all on-site operations, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and financial performance
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize occupancy, retention, and revenue
  • Hire, train, and develop a high-performing on-site team
  • Monitor budgets, control expenses, and oversee rent collections
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and fair housing laws
  • Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and internal partners
  • Maintain a high standard of curb appeal, cleanliness, and service excellence across the property
