About The Position

This internship provides students with an opportunity to be a member of our multi-disciplinary communications team and part of brand, marketing and business development (BMBD). You’ll work under the leadership of our Director of Communications to support the creative execution of our firmwide community strategy to help advance and amplify key messaging at the brand, firm, regional, market and practice levels.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
Strong grasp of journalistic writing, storytelling and grammar.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
A proactive and responsive approach with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
An interest in brand positioning and how communications can advance firm-wide strategy.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of high-quality, high-impact deliverables, including journalistic writing and storytelling that balances brand positioning with engaging narratives.
Support the firm’s digital communications ecosystem, including social media, internal news platforms and the external website.
Help maintain and influence a consistent brand voice across all internal and external platforms and forums.
Assist with the execution of firmwide communications plans and special initiatives as assigned.
May assist with digital assets, including basic coordination for photography or video production efforts.
Attend team meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns.
Perform other duties as required to support the efficiency and innovation of the communications practice.
