As a Communications Specialist, you will support and advance strategic communications and stakeholder outreach efforts within the Office of Research and Analytics (GPA/RA).

Requirements

• 3 + years of experience in communications including stakeholder engagement, insight-based communications, and strategic communications

• Experience working in a federal or public sector environment

Responsibilities

• Support and advance strategic communications and stakeholder outreach efforts within the Office of Research and Analytics (GPA/RA)
• Drafting, editing and producing various insights-based communications products for Department communicators and a wide-array of internal and interagency stakeholders
• Ensuring communications materials succinctly condense technical information in plain English, conveys the “so what,” and are tailored to our audiences
• Communications support must also routinely and effectively manage multiple communications products, including a monthly newsletter, from concept to completion, and liaise with graphic design staff and various GPA and RA team members
• Maintaining communications content calendar, distribution lists, and communications templates; responding to mailbox inquiries; hosting occasional briefings
