Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Maintains customer confidentiality
  • Knowledge of relevant banking regulations
  • Highschool education or equivalent
  • At least2years ofCommunications or Public Relationsexperiencepreferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft products

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the internal communicationsthatoccurwithinthebank
  • Assistin drafting,editingand distributinginternal communicationssuch as emails, newsletters, announcements, intranet posts, leadershipmessagesand organizational updates
  • Assistin telling theSovereign Bank story on social mediaincluding products and services
  • Write, copy edit,proofreadand revisecommunications content as necessary, including but not limited to products and services internal communications
  • Prepare strategic internal communication plan for the bankto include press releases
  • Ensureall internal messaging aligns with Sovereign Bank’s brand voice,valuesand strategic goals.Culture story blasts – internal andexternal willexpected.
  • Recommend what information should be presented to employeesand time the release of information to coordinate with company events and initiatives
  • Support planning and execution of internal events,State of theBankand employee engagement initiatives
  • Work withappropriate departmentsand management to publishtimelyinformation
  • Keep employees engaged in bank initiativeswith consistent messagingand internalhuman-intereststories and customer success stories
  • May plan and deliver education courses and materials
  • Communicate V/TO and EOS information internally
  • Measure and present results of communication efforts
  • Provide courteous andtimelyassistanceto all customers, both internal and external
