About The Position

This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of communications initiatives across the U.S. As a Communications Specialist, you’ll contribute to internal and external efforts, including digital content, press materials, traditional and social media campaigns, press launches, associate events, and core operational processes. You will work closely with colleagues across the U.S., North America, and Global Communications and Public Affairs, as well as leaders and associates across the business. This position is well suited for someone early in their career who is curious, adaptable, flexible and professional in how they interact with others, and motivated to contribute to meaningful, high impact work. Position Location: This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information and tailor tone.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable interpreting metrics and translating insights into recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities reliably.
  • Professional presence and confidence working with global Communications, Public Affairs, and business partners, as well as leaders and associates across the U.S. and North America.
  • 1-3 years of communications experience (internships included); pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a plus.
  • Graphic design and PowerPoint skills; ability to create clean, engaging visuals.
  • Strong comfort with technology, including AI willing to learn new systems and tools.
  • A “can do,” open, positive attitude and willingness to help get projects off the ground.
  • A strong cultural fit, collaborative, curious, thoughtful, and committed to high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track key U.S. communications deliverables; ensure teams stay aligned and organized.
  • Plan, write, and publish content for the U.S. LinkedIn channel, including simple, compelling visuals.
  • Support the LinkedIn presence and content planning for the President, North America.
  • Draft first versions of press releases, statements, briefing materials, and Q&As.
  • Support planning and execution of town halls, associate events, and leadership communications.
  • Develop operational guides, checklists, and process documents to support strong planning and delivery.
  • Manage timelines, reviews, and deliverables with strong organization and dependable follow‑through.
  • Track communications metrics and summarize insights clearly and concisely.

  • The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $66,800 - $124,000 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.
  • Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
