About The Position

The iconic Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is seeking a full-time communications operator to join their guest services team! This 757-room property is located next to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Inner Harbor’s museums, the National Aquarium, and is connected to Baltimore Convention Center via skywalk! The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of two years customer service experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment requiring heavy computer usage! It would be considered an asset for this role to have previous hotel front office experience at a Hilton property utilizing OnQ. What will I be doing? As a Communications Operator, you would be responsible for answering and responding to internal and external calls in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues via telephone in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Provide information and demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
  • Respond to emergencies and document and relay comprehensive, accurate information to proper parties in emergency situations
  • Accept and deliver all messages promptly and accurately, utilizing proper grammar and spelling
  • Operate office equipment including, but not limited to, computers, PBX system, fax machine, e-mail, etc.
