About The Position

The Communications Intern will support the Communications department across day-to-day tasks, event preparation, media operations, and content development. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in sports communications, media relations, and event operations within a fast-paced, global environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Flexibility to work across time zones if needed
• Proficiency in AI tools like Gemini
• Passion for sports!

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with media list tools (MailChimp, Cision, etc.) is a plus.
• Interest in sports communications; golf knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing materials for meetings, including spreadsheets, presentations, and briefing documents.
• Help draft content such as press releases, email updates, and marketing copy.
• Support the development and execution of communications strategies.
• Compile earned-media reports summarizing coverage of LIV Golf events.
• Conduct outreach to media outlets, influencers, and partners to support brand visibility.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
