About The Position
Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and supportive services for older adults, low-income families, and persons with disabilities. Join our team and gain hands-on experience in communications and marketing while making a meaningful impact in the community. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Communications Intern for Spring Semester 2026 . This internship offers exposure to social media management, marketing campaigns, event coordination, and advocacy initiatives. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to projects that enhance RHF’s mission and visibility. Internship Details Duration: Spring Semester 2026 Hours: Minimum 120 hours , not to exceed 300 hours during the term Schedule: Flexible within Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
