PEMCCO is seeking qualified Communications Engineers (Senior and Junior levels) to support a major metropolitan transit agency’s 900 MHz to 800 MHz spectrum transition initiative . These positions will operate within the client’s engineering environment and provide technical analysis, engineering support, and system evaluation for mission-critical rail communications systems. The selected engineers will support activities including RF system performance evaluation, interference analysis, design review support, field verification, and transition readiness assessment . Work will be performed in a staff augmentation capacity , supporting the client’s engineering authority without providing prescriptive design direction. This role requires experience in land mobile radio (LMR) systems, RF propagation, DAS environments, and transit or mission-critical communications systems , with the ability to operate in complex, interference-prone environments.
