About The Position

The Spectrum Office at Georgia State University is looking to hire an experienced candidate for the Business Analyst-Senior, Spectrum position. This position performs professional level duties to support the Spectrum Office. The Spectrum Office is responsible for the support and maintenance of three administrative software applications, PeopleSoft Financials, ONEUSG Connect and Panther Mart (SciQuest e-procurement system). ). The Financials System, better known as ‘Spectrum Plus’, consists of the General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payables, Asset Management and Purchasing modules. ONEUSG Connect is comprised of HR management, time and attendance, and benefits administration. Panther Mart consists of Higher Markets and Total Supplier Management. WHAT MAKES GSU A GREAT PLACE? Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology and seven years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Peoplesoft Financial including writing and running queries.
  • Experience with ADP including writing and running queries using ADP reporter.
  • Prior experience with other database systems such as SciQuest.
  • Prior experience in a management position and with project management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops and maintains security and workflow model for PeopleSoft Financials, e-procurement and OneUSG HCM system.
  • Mentors other security administrators in the Spectrum team.
  • Performs data collection on requests for the systems supported by the Spectrum Office such as the queries for the Financial System and OneUSG HCM System.
  • Develops reports, queries and debug application issues.
  • Resolves help desk tickets that may be assigned to the Spectrum Team. This includes working with the university departments throughout campus.
  • Responsible for testing and updating new updates and systems as required.
  • Responds to data requests/questions from auditors.
