Since 1977, Child Crisis Arizona has been a beacon of hope, answering the call to prevent and intervene in child abuse and neglect while building strong, resilient families across our community. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect by creating strong and successful families. Why This Role Matters If you’re a creative thinker who wants your work to mean something, this is your opportunity. We’re looking for a Communications Specialist who is not only passionate about storytelling and design, but who also brings ideas to the table, takes initiative, and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. This is a role for someone who sees opportunities for improvement, enjoys turning ideas into action, and is excited to help amplify voices and stories that truly matter. You’ll play a key role in shaping how our programs show up in the community, helping families find resources, engaging donors, and telling impactful stories that inspire support and change. And as part of our robust and growing Communications team, there is real opportunity to learn, grow, and expand your skillset over time. Position Summary The Communications Specialist supports Child Crisis Arizona’s mission by leading program and center-level marketing efforts while managing essential day-to-day communications tasks. This role ensures our programs remain visible, accessible, and engaging while also supporting broader communications and fundraising strategies. You’ll work closely with program teams, collaborate across departments, and serve as a key partner within a dynamic Communications team.
