About The Position

Southeastern Louisiana University's Office of Admissions invites applications for the position of Communications Coordinator. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and developing marketing and communication initiatives for all units within the Office of Admissions. An integral part of this position is to produce content for all communications web, print, and digital. This position is responsible for the content and delivery of all communications using the CRM (Slate). This position collaborates and coordinates with the University Marketing and Communications team to ensure brand adherence for all web, print, and digital communications. This position coordinates digital marketing initiatives for all Admission units, including content development (written, graphics, video, etc.). This position implements and updates all communications for all populations of undergraduate recruiting, returning students, graduate application communications, orientation, special events, campus tours, and dual enrollment. This position utilizes the CRM and other technology to implement and maintain communication plans for all populations of future student communications, as advised by the Associate Director. The Communications Coordinator assists with all event CRM needs (form building, event building, data capturing, etc.). This position assists and performs other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of New Student Experiences and the Director of Admissions. The successful candidate will possess current knowledge of the software systems used to develop and deliver campaigns, including drip marketing campaigns and supplemental materials for Admissions recruiting and university academic departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Art, Marketing, Business, Communication or other closely related field from an accredited university by hire date.
  • Current knowledge of the software systems used to develop and deliver campaigns, including drip marketing campaigns and supplemental materials for Admissions recruiting and university academic departments.

  • Proficiency with necessary technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.
