The Division of Family and Child Health at the Department of Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional interested in public health communication. We are looking for a well-organized person skilled at communicating clearly who wants to help provide the tools that make Vermont families thrive. The Division of Family and Child Health has over a dozen programs covering topics including injury and violence prevention, youth and adult suicide, road user safety, and safe sleep, perinatal and early childhood programs like home visiting and WIC, sexual and reproductive health, children with special health needs, and more. This position will support the division's communication work in a variety of ways, including managing educational materials, graphic design, coordinating social media and website updates and analytics, and supporting public health emergency response. This position will work under the general supervision of the Family and Child Health Information Director. The State of Vermont requires employees to work in the Waterbury office three days per week, with two days of teleworking available.
