About The Position

The Communications Advisor will help shape the way we connect with our people and communities. In this dynamic role, you’ll craft clear, engaging messages that bring our statewide initiatives to life and drive effective internal communications to keep staff informed and inspired.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content for internal and external audiences
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
• Tertiary qualifications in communications/journalism or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Current NSW Class C Driver’s license and the ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies that communicate LLS’ priority initiatives.
• Drive effective internal communications by creating clear messaging, using multiple channels, and fostering two-way engagement to keep staff informed and connected.
• Deliver clear, consistent messaging that promotes statewide initiatives and strengthens LLS’ brand across external channels.
• Create concise, well-structured communication and visual materials tailored for diverse platforms and audiences.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
