About The Position

We’re looking for an Internal Communications Advisor who knows how to turn strategy into clear, compelling stories — and who thrives on working closely with leaders to make sure the right messages land, at the right time, in the right way. In this role, you’ll lead the development and delivery of Capricorn’s internal communications strategy, ensuring our messages are clear, consistent and aligned with who we are and where we’re going. You’ll partner with Executive and Senior Leaders to embed our corporate strategy across the organisation, supporting a positive and productive work environment for our people across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll also be a trusted member of the wider Communications & Engagement team, lending your expertise to broader initiatives when needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and delivering successful internal communications strategies
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic communications planning, execution and evaluation
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to tailor content across multiple channels
• Solid project management, planning and organisational capability, with a track record of meeting deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• The flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining high standards
• 5–10 years’ experience in an internal communications role
• A degree in Public Relations or Journalism, or equivalent experience
