About The Position

Veritas Communications: The Veritas Communications Team exists to serve and support our Veritas ministries through inspirational, thoughtful, and excellent creative content. Through writing, design, photography, and video, we strive to effectively communicate the unique stories of people in and of our church family, ultimately pointing to the greatest gospel story of Jesus Christ.

Requirements

Proven ability to take projects from beginning to end (concept to production to final edit).
Must have an ability to simultaneously manage and administer multiple tasks, projects or events, and the people who are involved with them so both the project and the people succeed.
Organized, creative thinker and highly productive, working in a fast-paced environment.
Team player, team builder, self-starter, dreamer, detail-oriented, teachable.
Must be able to handle evaluation and critical feedback from team members, supervisor, other staff or church members.
Must possess good customer service and people skills.
Must desire to continue to learn and grow in ministry. Committed to improvement, personal development as a creative, seeks constructive criticism, understands strengths and weaknesses.
Intermediate level of skill in Adobe Creative Suite applications relevant to your internship field (i.e. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier, After Effects, etc.).

Nice To Haves

Prior related experience in related internship field is preferred.
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related internship field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Participate as a contributing member of the Veritas Communications Team and Staff.
Attend weekly meetings
Lead and/or participate in team-wide brainstorming
Provide and receive project feedback
Assist and support other team members as/if needed
Develop process guides, resource guides, and templates to ministry departments as needed
Adhere to Veritas and ministry branding guidelines as needed
Fulfill all intern staff expectations for Veritas Church employees
Shoot, edit, and distribute videography for stories of Veritas, church-wide events, ministry events, and social media platforms.
Post each Sunday’s message on the website
Edit and post the Equipping Podcast
