About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and optimizing financial advisor compensation processes across multiple business lines. You will ensure accurate aggregation, reporting, and analysis of commissions while driving process improvements and efficiencies. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Payroll, and business stakeholders to maintain transparency and compliance. The position combines technical expertise in compensation systems with strategic oversight to support business growth. You will help shape reporting standards, validate complex datasets, and provide insights that influence decision-making. This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative team while contributing to high-impact financial operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with at least 5 years of experience in financial services compensation.
  • Strong understanding of Broker/Dealer commissions, Retirement Plan fees, Investment Advisory fees, and Insurance commissions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in managing large datasets; strong analytical and reconciliation capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade compensation systems.
  • Ability to drive process improvements and maintain accuracy in complex compensation environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with Finance, Payroll, and business teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end aggregation and reporting of Financial Services compensation across multiple sources.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and improve transparency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on advisor compensation structures and revenue flows.
  • Implement and maintain compensation grids and dashboards for Wealth Management and Retirement Plans.
  • Coordinate advisor draws, quarterly updates, and true-up payments with Finance and Payroll.
  • Support leadership validation efforts and provide actionable insights from compensation data.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to drive efficiency and consistency across systems.
