How you will make history here... As the Commercialization Manager, you will be at the forefront of our product development and commercialization efforts. You will own highly complex projects, focused on improvement and high-impact initiatives across categories, and be responsible for coaching and guiding cross-functional teams throughout their development. Your role will involve project management of 2-5 critical Big Bet projects, leading Category Portfolio Management Reviews (PMRs), Gate reviews, and prioritization processes. You will also manage CPLs and/or Senior CPLs, driving strategic thinking across our portfolio and contributing to the development of our strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Commercialization for your category.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience in project management, product commercialization and/or CPG manufacturing/supply chain.
  • Detailed knowledge of innovation tools and processes, Stage Gate, and similar early-stage iterative development process

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Project Management
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within CPG industry
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Project Management of highly complex projects, with a focus on improvement and Big Bet, high-impact initiatives within and across categories, and coach cross-functional teams for development.
  • Portfolio Governance Leadership: Lead Category Portfolio Management Reviews, Gate reviews, and prioritization processes to ensure projects align with business goals and timelines.
  • Business and Financial Acumen: Apply proficient understanding of business and financial acumen to develop, deliver and drive business results through effective PMR and prioritization forums.
  • Leadership/Influence: Help craft and drive the transformation of commercialization using communication discipline & continuity and overall risk assessments that build risk tolerance. Effectively communicate with peers, as well as up to Category Vice Presidents and Research & Development leaders, driving R&R accountability to improve project delivery.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of CPLs and/or Senior CPLs, providing guidance and support to achieve project success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Drive strategic thinking across the portfolio, making decisions on trade-offs and challenging the status quo to optimize outcomes.
  • Strategic Plan Contribution: Contribute to the development of strategic plans for Supply Chain and Business, leveraging your expertise in commercialization.
  • Interdependency Mitigation: Employing a continuous improvement mindset, identify and drive mitigation strategies for interdependencies and conflicts between projects, ensuring smooth project execution and meeting Category goals.
  • Commercialization Expertise: Act as the commercialization expert within your category, utilizing proficient/advanced business and financial acumen to drive commercialization trade-offs and PMR discussions, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
