As a Commercial Sales Support Specialist, you will manage accounts relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year related experience.
  • Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily customer quotations.
  • Negotiate plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.
  • Responsible for some of the order entry, order maintenance, and management of order delivery process.
  • Manage weekly bid schedule.
  • Prioritize projects and communicates bid date and time, co-coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers.
  • Manage quote follow-up process including updating weekly open quote reports, updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors.
  • Assist in credit and collection activities.
  • Manage the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders.
  • Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately, reducing manual overrides and allowances.
  • Coordinate and manage quotes and orders within guidelines for residential districts.
