About The Position

We are Universe Home Services , a proud local business serving homeowners across Nassau and Suffolk counties with expert HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions. Located in Farmingdale. Now Hiring : Full Time Commercial Sales Representative. We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Commercial Sales Representative with B2B sales experience and/or hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or building operations/facility maintenance. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting service and installation solutions to commercial customers. This position is ideal for a sales professional with strong commercial experience who understands building systems or has worked closely with service trades.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, facility maintenance, or building operations.
  • Experience selling or supporting commercial service solutions is preferred.
  • Technical understanding of commercial building systems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close business.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior experience working with or within service-based companies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local commercial building codes and permit requirements is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the commercial sector (office buildings, retail spaces, property management firms, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, facility managers, property managers and business owners.
  • Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and develop tailored proposals for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services.
  • Prepare and present sales quotes, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed sales activity records in CRM software.
  • Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Stay current on industry trends, local codes, and competitive offerings.
