About The Position

Proofpoint is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to work closely with the regional sales teams. The commercial sales department is responsible for delivering the most effective cyber security solutions through protecting people and defending data across all channels including email, the web, the cloud, social media and mobile messaging. As a Commercial Sales Intern, you will utilize Sales Force, Zoom Info, Linked In, Outreach and other tools to increase the total addressable market, improve Sales Force Integrity, and generate genuine pipeline. You will work closely with Front Line Leaders and Account Managers to add new account & contacts, validate data accuracy, and prospect existing or new whitespace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with solutions that can be deployed in private or public clouds a plus
  • Ability to build sales presentations
  • Attend sales meetings notating administrative action items
  • Experience working with SFDC or other CRM is a bonus
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) as well as organizational skills
  • Previous experience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Gather intelligence for the territories and accounts that you will be responsible for
  • Complete accurate tracking of data changes with current and potential customers in SFDC
  • Qualify and Develop outbound sales leads
  • Create internal enablement content and collateral
