Under general supervision, manages accounts relationships. Creates and manages daily customer quotations. Negotiates plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts. Responsible for some of the order entry, order maintenance, and management of the order delivery process. Manages weekly bid schedule. Prioritizes projects and communicates bid date and time, co-coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers. Manages quote follow-up process including updating weekly open quote reports, updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors. Assists in credit and collection activities. Manages the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders. Prepares and manages submittals and orders accurately, reducing manual overrides and allowances. Coordinates and manages quotes and orders in accordance with guidelines for residential districts.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
