About The Position

The Commercial Administrator will provide essential administrative and operational support across Sales and Finance. This role will focus on maintaining data integrity, managing commercial processes, and handling non–revenue-generating tasks that enable the commercial teams to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and comfortable working across systems such as Acumatica and (later) Salesforce BFO.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales administrative, commercial operations, or sales support roles.
  • Strong proficiency with ERP or CRM systems (Acumatica experience desirable).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Process‑driven and detail orientated.
  • Proactive problem solver with a sense of ownership.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track commission‑eligible sales across multiple entities.
  • Calculate commission payments accurately based on agreed structures and inputs.
  • Prepare commission reports for Finance and Sales leadership.
  • Maintain audit‑ready documentation supporting all commission calculations.
  • Maintain and clean the Sales Pipeline in Acumatica and, in future, Salesforce BFO.
  • Ensure pipeline data is accurate, complete, and updated regularly.
  • Track and update business synergy opportunities across entities.
  • Support reporting and analytics on pipeline performance and synergies.
  • Perform data hygiene activities, including deduplication, record cleanup, and field validation.
  • Manage Order Entry tasks, including creation and updating of sales orders.
  • Support the creation and processing of Sales Orders in accordance with SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and coordinate resolution with IT or system admins where needed.
  • Assist Sales and Finance leaders with administrative tasks that streamline commercial workflows.
  • Support month‑end or quarter‑end tasks related to commercial data validation.
  • Prepare standardized reports or dashboards within the CRM as requested.
  • Document operational processes and maintain commercial Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Support with scheduling industry trade shows and customer visits.
