About The Position

Uptown Rental Properties, recognized as one of Greater Cincinnati’s Top Workplaces of 2025 by the Cincinnati Enquirer, is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, lead a small team, and ensure strong tenant relationships, operational excellence, and financial performance. This role is critical in maintaining asset quality, maximizing revenue, and protecting the Uptown brand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing commercial properties and tenant relationships
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgets, CAM, and variance reporting
  • Ability to lead a small team and collaborate across multiple departments
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive problem solver
  • Knowledge of property management laws, codes, and compliance

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Certifications in commercial property management a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial tenants and resolve operational issues
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and buildouts; ensure seamless communication across vendors, operations, and projects
  • Enforce lease compliance and address tenant defaults or disputes; escalate legal matters when necessary
  • Oversee commercial maintenance, prioritize work, and verify quality of completion
  • Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans
  • Manage commercial budgets, produce CAM estimates and reconciliations, and partner with Accounting/CFO on financial performance
  • Collaborate with brokers, owners/associations, and community stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and protect the Uptown brand
  • Track and report KPIs, operating performance, and action items to leadership and ownership
  • Support special projects, capital planning, and due diligence for potential acquisitions
