About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Plumbing Technician to service and maintain commercial plumbing systems across customer locations. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems while ensuring all work complies with North Carolina plumbing codes and OSHA safety standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating with the commercial plumbing team to deliver high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Commercial plumbing service experience or demonstrated ability to perform plumbing repairs independently.
  • Experience using sewer machines and conducting pipe camera inspections.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Working knowledge of North Carolina plumbing codes and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift, carry materials weighing 50 plus lbs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather and environmental conditions.

  • Experience servicing commercial plumbing systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using hydro jetting equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and related equipment.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.
  • Operate sewer machines to clear drains, remove blockages, and restore proper flow.
  • Perform pipe camera inspections to locate defects, obstructions, or failures with plumbing systems.
  • Test plumbing systems after repairs to ensure proper operation and identify leaks or deficiencies.
  • Document service work performed and communicate findings to supervisors or project managers.
  • Maintain compliance with all North Carolina plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and service-related equipment; operate or assist with equipment such as jackhammers, skid steers, and trenchers as needed.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and service vehicles.
