Position Overview The Commercial Plumbing Superintendent provides on-site leadership, oversees multiple crews, and ensures all plumbing installations meet project specifications, building codes, and company standards. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, construction-focused environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of commercial plumbing experience
  • 3+ years supervising or leading crews (Superintendent experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and construction documents
  • Proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day‑to‑day field operations for multiple commercial plumbing projects
  • Coordinate schedules, manpower, subcontractors, and materials
  • Ensure all installations meet code requirements, plans, and specifications
  • Conduct jobsite inspections, quality checks, and safety audits
  • Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and foremen
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide technical guidance
  • Forecast manpower needs and assist in planning project timelines
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and daily field reports
  • Lead, mentor, and support plumbing foremen and field teams
