About The Position

Upchurch is seeking a relationship-driven Commercial Plumbing Sales Representative to grow commercial service and small-project revenue in the Gulfport market. This role owns the sales cycle—prospecting, site walks, proposal development, follow-up, and closing—while partnering closely with operations to deliver a great customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years B2B outside sales (commercial trades preferred: plumbing, HVAC/mechanical, facilities, construction services).
  • Proven pipeline development and closing experience.
  • Comfortable selling to property managers, facility teams, and GCs.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up discipline.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel locally.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial plumbing service/small project knowledge.
  • Experience selling service agreements/recurring revenue.
  • Familiarity with CRM/estimating tools (BuildOps, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Gulf Coast facility knowledge (corrosion, storms, underground/sewer impacts) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new commercial business (property management, facilities, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, retail, GCs, etc.).
  • Manage and grow existing accounts through proactive follow-up and cross-selling.
  • Perform site walks, define scope, and coordinate with operations for accurate solutions/pricing.
  • Build and present proposals (including Good/Better/Best options) and close opportunities.
  • Sell and grow service agreements and recurring programs (PM, backflow, jetting, camera inspections, grease trap, planned replacements).
  • Track pipeline activity and forecasts in CRM/required systems.
  • Maintain a safety-first approach and ensure proposals include clear scope, assumptions, and documentation needs.
