The Commercial Sales Representative serves as the driving force behind new business acquisition and revenue growth within their territory. By engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting a tailored solution, this role ensures a seamless transition from prospecting to closing deals. Through effective communication and relationship building, the Commercial Representative will also help to drive additional revenue growth within current commercial accounts. The essential duties of this position include traveling to potential customer properties to identify needs, provide cost estimates and bids for services, and selling programs and services to present and prospective customers through in-person contact. The role involves securing sales, arranging service dates, and accurately measuring properties for quoting. The representative will follow established procedures to promote and sell products within an assigned geographic area, maintain call records, account status, and customer feedback in the CRM system, and manage account records. They will also compile lists of prospective customers, prepare sales reports, conduct retention and service calls, meet company retention standards, contact customers to measure satisfaction, and resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service. Additionally, they will analyze and distribute new sale cancellation requests to retain customers, and perform other duties as assigned.
