About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing Commercial Lending ART operations. The role involves leading a team, managing operational efficiency, resolving product-related issues, and collaborating with subject matter experts and technical support. Key duties include strategic task prioritization, staff training in agile methodologies, budget oversight, vendor management, and standard managerial authority over staffing and professional development. Candidates must have relevant education and experience, including familiarity with commercial lending applications and Agile practices. The Testing Manager role is essential in planning and strategically organizing the user testing needs of Commercial Lending ART, working closely with both Product and Tech teams. This position brings critical expertise to proactively address potential impacts or involves the relevant subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure a comprehensive understanding and resolution of any issues that arise. This role plays an instrumental part in aligning the impacts of Commercial Lending ART work following product releases, ensuring that users receive appropriate support post-launch. Responsibilities include researching and investigating issues, as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to find timely resolutions. Where necessary, the role will also triage the concerns with Product and technical support teams to address and resolve problems efficiently. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing strong leadership to the team by effectively filtering through incoming work to identify and prioritize tasks that align with our strategic objectives. The Testing Manager must also demonstrate the ability to confidently decline work that does not support our core priorities, ensuring that resources and efforts remain focused on high-impact initiatives. The Testing Manager is also expected to train and guide staff in adopting new ways of working, including the execution of tasks within an agile framework. This approach ensures that process enhancements are closely aligned with the methods used by the Product and Tech teams, fostering greater collaboration and adaptability across the department.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required.
  • Alternatively, instead of a degree, candidates may qualify with a combined minimum of 9 years of higher education and 7 years of supervisory or operations experience.
  • Experience with commercial lending applications and processes is preferred for navigating various aspects of Commercial Lending ART.
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework is expected, along with a willingness to learn and implement Agile practices.
