Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability within a specific market or region. Provide assistance and training to Commercial Loan Officers and Lending team by providing leadership, marketing, and financial knowledge to the Commercial Team. Duties and Responsibilities: Take a leadership role in representing the Credit Union to the local business market to build awareness, brand image, credibility, and new business. Actively participate in community business organizations and events. Help with analyzing market trends, competitor activities and member behavior to help identify opportunities for expansion and growth. Responsible for leading teams in generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans varying in complexity and size by providing coaching, setting performance goals and ensuring the team is equipped to meet objectives. Responsible for helping teams to contribute to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional credit union products. Responsible for helping with the management of market budgets, forecasting sales and analyzing financial performance. Coordinate and participate in joint calls with Commercial Loan Officers, Private Client Officers, Wealth Management Officers, and other team members. Maintain in-depth product knowledge of all business services; provide quality introductions and referrals for business loans, merchant bankcards, Preferred Pay, and other business and personal banking products. Create and lead training on specific commercial lending topics of your choice. Crosstrain team members as part of sales efforts may conduct formal training on products and sales techniques. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years commercial lending experience. Knowledge of commercial lending, commercial credit analysis and leading teams. Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance. Ability to work independently, under pressure and organize tasks for optimal performance. Excellent communication, relationship building and sales skills. Performance Standard: Must take pride in the department and the credit union, always meeting and exceeding member’s expectations. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union. Physical Requirements: Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.). Sit for extended periods of time. Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers. Reach keyboards. Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).
