Requirements
- Strong research, writing, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Advanced legal research and writing proficiency
- 3–4 years of commercial litigation, preferably with real estate-related cases.
- Solid understanding of New York civil procedure.
- Prior experience in motion practice, discovery, arbitration, or mediation.
- Commercial litigation and real estate law expertise
- Courtroom, arbitration, and mediation experience
Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation matters.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery processes and litigation strategy.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and produce professional, polished documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while maintaining independent responsibility for assigned cases.
