The Team Leader provides a high level of support to team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers. The Team Leader maintains an assigned book of business as required and serves as representative of team to Management. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service -OR- High School degree/GED with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
  • Appropriate licensing as required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years supervisory experience.
  • Prior experience designing and implementing productivity and client service improvements
  • Keen understanding of professional and industry standards/practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal polices and endorsements.
  • Audits for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages and signatures.
  • Markets both new and renewal accounts. Identifies account coverages that should be added or expanded.
  • Maintains accounts and activities per Agency procedures.
  • Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to staff.
  • Performs annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members.
  • Resolve Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources
  • Attends client meeting with or without Producer as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
