About The Position

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Specialist to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in commercial lines marketing to contribute to a collaborative and thriving team environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-volume service and placement, as well as expertise in working with both wholesale/broker markets and standard market carriers. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial lines marketing
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is required
  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume service and placement workloads
  • Strong knowledge of wholesale/broker markets and standard market carrier marketing/negotiation
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license; a CIC designation is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Market new business accounts and a select number of large renewals within the commercial lines sector
  • Handle high-volume service and placement workloads efficiently
  • Collaborate with brokers and standard market carriers to negotiate and secure optimal terms
  • Utilize Applied EPIC software to manage marketing activities and maintain accurate records
  • Work closely with the Director of Commercial Service and Marketing and a team of eight professionals to achieve departmental goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and broker markets
  • Ensure timely and accurate placement of accounts, meeting client needs and expectations
