The Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative I is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and adjusting multi‑line liability claims, with a strong emphasis on bodily injury (BI). You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts—trucking, products liability, governmental entities, and other complex risk categories—as part of a national team handling claims across all U.S. jurisdictions. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑exposure claims environment. You will join a supportive, experienced team of seven claims professionals with access to training, mentorship, and growth opportunities. Requirements

  • 3+ years of liability claim experience or insurance-related experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience handling bodily injury claims (BI experience is required)
  • Active Adjuster License is Required
  • Texas DHS Adjuster License (preferred) or an equivalent multi-state accepted license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling multiple commercial accounts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related field (Associate degree preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical and legal terminology
  • Experience handling trucking, products liability, and/or governmental entity claims.
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort working with represented and unrepresented claimants.
  • Familiarity with multi‑jurisdictional claim handling and E&O‑sensitive accounts.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency — highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established claims handling procedures using CCMSI guidelines and direct supervision.
  • Review medical, legal and miscellaneous invoices to determine if reasonable and related to the ongoing liability claims. Negotiate any disputed bills for resolution.
  • Authorize and make payment of multi-line liability claims utilizing a claim payment program in accordance with industry standards and within settlement authority.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys in accordance with client's authorization.
  • Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys.
  • Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
  • Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves.
  • Provide reports and monitor files, as required by excess insurers.
  • Compliance with Service Commitments as established by team.
  • Delivery of quality claim service to clients.
